There’s an old saying that describes exactly how I feel about working in the radio: “Do what you love. Love what you do.” I absolutely love radio and I truly love working in the radio industry. In fact, I’ve been fascinated by radio for as long as I can remember.

As a young boy, my family moved around quite a bit and no matter where we happened to be living at the time, whether it was Casablanca, Tangier, California, or France – radio was always my constant companion.

I would spend countless hours upon hours listening to my tiny transistor radio and many is the time I would fantasize about hosting my own radio show.

Little did I know this dream of mine would soon become a reality.

When I was just 12-years-old, my family moved from the U.S. to Europe. It was here that radio would change my life forever. After settling in and getting used to my new surroundings in Montpellier, France, I soon discovered and began listening to the number one radio station in the city. On a whim, I summoned the courage to call this station up and asked to meet with the general manager. To my surprise, he said yes! I met with him shortly thereafter, and, after talking with him for half an hour, somehow I was able to convince him to give me a weekly show. This made me, at 12-years-old, the youngest radio DJ in all of France.

The rest, as they say, is history.

Since those humble beginnings, I have worked in the radio industry nonstop, holding positions as a DJ, producer, sound producer, production director, program director and consultant. Now, as an independent consultant for hire, I’ve taken everything I’ve learned in my career and made it my personal mission to nurture, evolve and secure the future of my first love – broadcast radio.

Ask anyone who has worked with me and they will tell you that I’m friendly, accessible and extremely passionate and excited about radio, music, and the always-changing digital evolution of the media business.

In addition to my professional career in the radio industry, I’ve completed executive courses in media and management at UCLA, Columbia Business School, HEC, and Harvard Business School.

When I’m not traveling the world preaching the gospel of radio to anyone and everyone who will listen, I enjoy Bikram Yoga, Taekwondo, swimming, rollerblading, going to movies, traveling and, of course, listening to the radio.
